Today we re-release the fifth vintage of our highly regarded Calavera The Stout. One of the region’s original “pastry stouts,” this huge, viscous beast of a beer is aged in a blend of various bourbon barrels from our friends at Midwest Barrel Co. aged from 9 to 18 months. After hand selecting the blend we load the final selection with cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa, and a reduction drawn from multiple Mexican chiles.
Since it initial release in 2015, this has been one of our most highly regarded and annually anticipated beers. Look for it in our new Two x Two packs, which include two 12 ounce bottles of The Stout (the base forming Calavera), and two bottles of Calavera. Very limited amounts hit shelves of your local retailers this weekend and will be available until gone in our four locations.
