Zipline Brewing Company is proud to announce the opening of its second taproom in Omaha and its fourth Nebraska located on 204th (HWY 6) between Gretna and Elkhorn just south of West Center Road. Zipline Beer Lounge boasts oversized lounge chairs, couches, a fireplace, shuffleboard, and a full-service lending library. West Omaha Zipline fans will be able to enjoy the freshest year-round, seasonal, and small-batch Zipline beers beginning this Labor Day weekend.
“We’re excited to deliver brewery fresh beer directly to our supporters in West Omaha,” said Zipline co-founder Marcus Powers. “We are a Nebraska brand first and foremost, and this allows us to embrace neighbors that might not always have time to join us for a beer in Lincoln or downtown Omaha. We want to prioritize our local markets, and view the Beer Lounge as essential to that mission.”
“We try to make each of our spaces unique, and the Beer Lounge is just that,” said Powers’ business partner Tom Wilmoth. “In contrast to the industrial, fast pace of our downtown location, the Lounge is like the living room I always wanted, but never had.”
Wilmoth pointed out that the sense of home stems from the locale. “We’re basically surrounded by residences, parks, and open space, so we sought to make the Lounge an extension of the neighborhood. Inside the soft interiors, or out on the patio, it’s a great environment for a beer, a game, a read, or a chat.”
Zipline Beer Lounge is set to officially open Friday, August 30th, 2019 at 2 pm. The new location’s 24 taps will include some special releases from the cellar, which will be available only while supplies last.
