Those of you who live and work in the Omaha metro might have noticed signs of something brewing in the space between Slowdown and Filmstreams.
Formerly housing the Saddle Creek Records shop, 721 N 14th St will shortly play home to our Omaha Taproom. Due west of Ameritrade Park and a skip from Century Link Center, the “industrial chic” quarters boast 40 foot vaulted ceilings, concrete architectural elements, and black steel finishes (but we kept a few nods to the former tenants).
Patrons of the brewery taproom will recognize the traditional mahogany bar, hand crafted by co-founder J. Gallentine in his “spare time.” All seating is padded leather to facilitate a good chinwag with friends.
The Omaha taproom sports twenty-four taps, including four guests taps dedicated to other local beers, ciders, and nitro coffee from Meta Coffee Lab. You’ll find everything from sessionable stalwarts like Copper Alt. and Kolsch, to hopped up IPAs, and on to our most radical interpretations of old world styles, such as Tequila Barrel-Aged Lime Gose.
When the weather cooperates, ride the adjacent Metro Bikes to our front door and sit on the patio with a pint before hitting the shops in North Downtown. Wind down after a show at Slowdown, the Rose, or the Arena. Pre-game before the next sporting event or Filmstreams offering. Whether you’re popping in for a quick pint, seeking to explore our small batch exclusives, or just looking to share quality a craft pint, we’ll make certain you’ll find what you need. Current plans call for a mid-June opening, but double check social media for an exact date. Cheers OMA!
